If you’re planning a trip to Portugal, it is worthwhile noting the dates of the Portugese Public Holidays  or ‘Feriados’

Portugal has a mixture of both Religious & Public holidays.

You will find that all  the Banks, most of  the shops and many public buildings such as museums will be closed on these days.

However, many Bars and Restaurants will tend to remain open.
