Pegões Aquaduct near TOMAR
The aquaduct has 180 arches and is over 6 kms long. It was built between 1593 and 1613 to supply water to the Convento do Cristo in Tomar. It is an awesome sight and less than 20 minutes from Casa Rosden by car.
