Dornes
This beautiful, picturesque village of Dornes can be found on the shores of the Castelo de Bode Lake and is just a short 40minute drive from Casa Rosden. The village has only around 800 inhabitants, but attracts many tourists because of it’s stunning views. The Medieval Pentagonal Tower, built by Gualdim Pais with the local ’schist’ stone is another attraction. The village consists of narrow cobbled streets, in the hillside above the lake.
