Constância
Constância is a pretty town, with whitewashed houses and cobbled streets and is situated in the Tagus Valley, just a 20minute drive from Casa Rosden. It was once a Roman town,and the Tagus and Zezere rivers meet here.
Constância was also where the British Army assembled in the Peninsular War before their march into Spain for the Battle of Talavera in 1809, when Wellington conquered the French.
