Stroll through the streets of the charming old quarter, Alfama.
Visit the ‘Castelo de Sao Jorge’ one of the main historical sites located in a commanding position on a hilltop overlooking the Capital City,
or see ‘Jeronimos Monastery’, another World Heritage Site and the resting place of Vasco de Gama.

Visitors wanting to see the sights in Lisbon can save by purchasing a ‘Lisboa Card’, which allows the bearer free admission, or 50% discount on admission fees to most attractions, as well as free access to all public transport. The card costs just €17,50 and is valid for 24 hours. Cards can also be purchased for 48 and 72 hours.
It is available from tourist offices throughout the city.
