Casa Rosden is set in a very beautiful place and it is so easy to relax there. Den and Ros made us very welcome and are very knowledgeable about the local area and restaurants. Highly recommended.

found them to be. Nothing was too much trouble, and were made to feel at home and comfortable in their little piece of Paradise. We found Casa Rosden idealy located in the centre of Portugal for visiting all the wonderful and interesting towns and cities Portugal has.Thank you Ros and Den for making us feel so welcomed, we shall be back!

We have enjoyed exploring Tomar and have had many fascinating day trips in all directions.

Rosina and Dennis were wonderful hosts, who made us feel comfortable all around. They gave us many hints about what to do in this interesting area. Dennis’s orientation tour of Tomar, especially to the aqueduct behind the castle –but also to food shopping — gave us an excellent start. Since it was hot in August, we really enjoyed the pool every day after sightseeing. The studio is very comfortable and furnished nicely. The pergola with the view of the countryside is a great place to have a meal or just sit and enjoy the view.

Had another great stay at Casa Rosden. Once again we had a very relaxing time and thoroughly enjoyed our day trips around and about Tomar. So many places to visit and Den and Ros are such super hosts it makes everything so relaxed. Would have no hesitation in recommending it. First Class.

We booked for a week and stayed an extra 2 days.Ros & Den are perfect hosts.
The accommodation offers so much in terms of comfort and location. Den’s knowledge of the region and the information book provided, helped us get the best from this trip.

A really lovely apartment, clean, fresh and very comfortable. Ros & Den are lovely, friendly hosts who are there when you need them, yet manage to strike the balance just right and give their guests as much privacy as they need. There is a pool, which is a relaxing place to be, and outdoor eating areas too. Big towels are provided . . . and everything is provided to make you as comfortable as possible.
There are some lovely dogs too . . . and if you like dogs then these will be a joy. Although the dogs keep themselves to themselves, and are very quiet indeed . . . But if you want to be friendly with them, they are very friendly, gentle dogs.
A relaxing short stay . . . and it would have been lovely to stay longer. Definitely recommended as a cosy hideaway for a couple.

We have had a wonderful stay at Casa Rosden…..We have felt so welcomed and spoilt. It has been very relaxing to stay in such a peaceful place, great to use the pool, enjoyed the Tomar ‘tour’ courtesy of Ros & Den and really appreciative of their Restaurant recommendations…..food was delicious! Thanks for a fabulous holiday.

Thanks also for the fruit, milk and wine. The wine was a good way to celebrate our 28th Wedding Anniversary on that day.
The tour around Tomar gave us an insight into the town, making our visit on the Sunday much easier and more enjoyable.
The location is perfect for visiting the area, some of the hilltop towns are very beautiful indeed and well worth the journey to see them.
Getting the train to and from Lisbon was easy to do especially after discussing the options available to us. The trains were clean, tidy and always on time. It was a good day but very tiring!
Our last day consisted of looking at the market in Tomar, last minute gift shopping and picking up the final bottles of local wine to take north on our journey home to Scotland.

Well I have done some travelling in my time, but have never come across hosts like Ros & Den. They greeted us like we were old friends and even though we arrived late on Sunday evening,Den hopped in the car and took us to the supermarket for supplies and a guided tour of Tomar.
We have had a ‘full on’ week and have seen a lot of Central Portugal. However the highlight for us has been the horse fair at Golegã, truely extraordinary and has to be experienced to believe it.
We wholeheartedly recommend staying at Casa Rosden.

We found you on the Internet and it didn’t lie. There’s everything you need at Casa Rosden for a relaxing stay and it’s a great base to travel around the nearby circuit of Castles. I had a great time. I loved the Lake and the River. The Castelo Almourel was very cool and the boat ride was great! We went to 2 Restaurants and they were amazing. The Casa Rosden was great. The Pool was great and it was nice inside!!

22.09.11 Arrived late after a long day of travel. Ros & Den were very welcoming. We immediatelly thought the place was very lovely! It was nice to have coffee and milk provided for the morning, The Restaurant up the hill was an awesome surprise.
Ros & Den are great people. They are what makes this stay wonderful. They helped us out with the computer and we were able to ‘Skype’ home!

Had a lovely time in Casa Rosden, despite 3 days of torrential rain! Last few days were warm & sunny - more typical of Portugal, so we’re assured!
Our hosts Ros & Den were magnificent, from our personalised tour of Tomar to lots of advice & help on where to go and what to see,
The studio was well equipped with everything we needed, even the bed was comfortable!
The setting is beautiful!
