Casa Rosden Holiday Studio Accommodation in Tomar, is ideally suitable as a base to explore the ‘beauty’ of ‘Rural’ Central Portugal, relax and unwind in the peace and quiet of our location or for those who are looking to purchase property in the heart of Portugal. We offer great flexibility and competitive pricing and we will do our best to meet your personal requirements. There is a newly opened shop just 2 minutes walk from Casa Rosden, selling all basic groceries, toiletries, freshly baked bread, fruit and vegetables. Main Supermarkets and other shops are situated in Tomar, which is less than 10minutes away by car. If your flight arrives late in the evening, we can shop for you, so please ask. For bookings of a week or more we will provide a welcome pack of fruit, milk, bottled water and wine, with our compliments. Some tea and coffee will be available for you. We are located just an easy hour to hour and a half away by car, from the capital Lisbon and it’s airport, or around two and a half hours from Porto.There is also an excellent train service, from either Lisbon or Porto airports, to nearby Tomar or Entroncamento stations. We would like very much to make sure that your holiday at Casa Rosden, is ’One to Remember’. We can help you with ideas of where to go and what to do, whilst you are here in Central Portugal. If you need flowers for that Special Birthday or Anniversary, we can arange that for you. We can also organise a romantic meal at a local restaurant, or help you with any ‘extras’ that you may need to make YOUR holiday in TOMAR, Central Portugal, a very special one, full of happy memories. Coimbra, Constancia, Castelo Do Bode, Dornes, Golegã, Óbidos are all within easy reach as well as a drive to Nazaré, Peniche and Figueira Da Foz, on the coast. The ‘holy’ shrine of Fátima is a must visit whilst in this area of Portugal, as are Portugal’s largest caves, Mire de Aire. Perhaps you’d also like to visit the Dinossaur Footprints and the Gothic Monastry at Batalha, not forgetting of course, the World heritage Knights’ Templar Castle here, overlooking the city of TOMAR
Casa Rosden is perfectly situated for visiting all that Central Portugal has to offer you. When you return from a day’s sightseeing, you can relax on one of our sun loungers by our swimming pool, or sit under the spacious Pergola with a glass of wine and enjoy the view of the lights across the beautiful city of TOMAR, before you enjoy ‘Jantar’ (dinner ) at one of the local Portuguese Restaurants. Or, if you would prefer to eat ’Al Fresco’, why not cook on our own undercover BBQ.
